Elephant Tusk can be seen off in the distance. The South Rim of the Chisos Mountains can be seen through the Ocotillo.

I took this shot as we hiked out to camp near Elephant Tusk. The desert is a beautiful place and looks almost purposely landscaped. The floor is flat and covered with a layer of small rocks and pebbles. It is populated with evenly-spaced cactus, ocotillo, and other thorny plants.
